Voice actor Changiz Jalilvand passes away

TEHRAN.(Iranart)- Veteran Iranian voice actor Changiz Jalilvand passed away in Tehran on Sunday. He was 80.

Changiz Jalilvand was born in Shiraz. He began his artistic career in 1957 with the theatre activities.

He has also acted in several TV series and movies such as "Arshim mal-alan","In Sib ham baray to", "Bandargah-e eshgh", etc.

Jalilvand lent his voice to famous foreign actors including Marlon Brando, Paul Newman,  Clint Eastwood, Brett Lancaster, Maximilian Shell, Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole, Joel Brenner, Clint Eastwood, Dean Martin and domestic actors such as Mohammad Ali Fardin, Behrouz Vossoughi, Naser Malek Motiei, and Iraj Ghaderi, and Saeed Rad.

He had also narrated a Persian translation of the Holy Quran on a CD to promote the reading of the Holy Book, which was released in 2009.
