According to the festival’s official website, “Göteborg Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Nordic countries. Each year the festival’s program group travels around the world to track down choice films to bring back to Göteborg. Due to the increased spread of COVID-19, the festival 2021 will go digital, presenting an online cinematic experience. During the 11-day festival at the end of January, there will still be a great banquet serving audiences nearly 50 films with premiere screenings every night.”
