TEHRAN.(Iranart) –Iranian director Sara Namjoo’s short movie “Eaten” will be competing in the 61st edition of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth, known as the Zlín Film Festival, which is set to be held in Zlín, Czech Republic, from September 9 to 15.

The animation is about little miracles in daily life that make it possible to tolerate the hardships, ifilmtv.com reported.

“The main characters of the animation are two children but it targets a vast range of viewers,” the filmmaker said.

Namjoo believes participating in international events is a great opportunity for filmmakers to boost their self-confidence.

Sina Amiri and Farzaneh Haqiqat are the animators of the film.

According to zlin fest.CZ, the Czech film festival is a significant international event that has an excellent reputation and holds respect. Its screenings are conducted not only in Zlin but also in other towns in the Czech Republic.

The mission and goal of the festival is the presentation of contemporary world films for children and youths in the Czech Republic as well as an exhibition of Czech films. It is an active member of the European Children’s Film Association.
