TEHRAN.(Iranart)-The fifth edition of the Fajr International Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Festival will be held Virtually, said the Iranian Handicrafts Organization’s director for holding exhibitions, Vida Tavahodi.
Referring to the preparations made for the fifth edition of the festival, Tavahodi said, “Considering the coronavirus outbreak and the impossibility of holding the festival in person, extensive planning has been done for this virtual event”.
The festival aims to create a significant visual attraction through a different look at the handicrafts industry, she added.
Tavahodi stated that although there would be some changes in selecting the artworks and the evaluation, it is expected that by integrating popular programs and cultural competitions in this festival, the event would be highly welcomed.
She added that this festival has been held since 2016 and the purpose of holding it is to improve the quality of handicrafts and the possibility of receiving ideas in a competitive environment.
