Initiative of Roudaki foundation: 170 musicians performes together

TEHRAN. (Iranart) – Roudaki Artistic cultural Foundation, which manages the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, recently called and invited the members of the orchestra and musicians from all around the world to perform the part of the 4th movement of Beethoven`s 9th Symphony at home. What Beethoven`s Ninth Symphony communicates is happiness and peace. This project is done with more than 170 musicians and singers from 15 countries. We believe that the message of this performance is equality and friendship, that in a situation where the world is struggling and encountering a common problem, (the new coronavirus), there is no other way but solidarity to overcome the crisis. As Saddi, the great poet of Iran, said, “Human beings are members of a whole, in the creation of one essence and soul.
