13th Fajr Visual Arts Festival Honors Winners

TEHRAN – (Iranart)-Winners of the 13th Fajr Visual Arts Festival were honored during a closing ceremony held at Vahdat Hall on Thursday.

The closure of the 13th Fajr Visual Arts Festival held  with limited capacity and observance of health protocols on February 25th.

During the ceremony, several speeches were broadcast in the form of recorded videos after that, a clip of the preparation of the festival was broadcast, and in the continuation of the appreciation ceremony, 9 honourable people of visual arts were held, and the high badge of visual arts and a plaque signed by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance given to Garnik Darhakopian in the field of painting, Saeed Razaghi for Illustration, And Yaghoub Azhang was awarded in the research section.

In this ceremony, the book of the festival was unveiled in the section "Golden Touba" and also the book "Eidi-making" by Hassan Mohammadnejad was also honoured as one of the activists of manual printing.

There were also awards ceremonies for selected and acclaimed artists as follows:

Somayeh Zarei from Tehran

Farzaneh Neyshabouri from Yazd province

Calligraphy:

There was no selected artist in this field and Majid Dastani from Qom, Mahmoud Rahimi Ahd from Tehran and Mostafa Abedini from Qazvin were honored without priority.

New Art Media:

Maryam Yahaghi from Tehran

Ehsan Mahdavi from Khorasan Razavi

Ceramics:

In this field, three people were honored without ranking. Roghayeh Asadi from Tehran, Mohammad Reza Rondeh from Sistan & Baluchestan and Ahdollah Shokripour from Masouleh.
