TEHRAN.(Iranart)-Seventeen artworks by Iranian artists went under the hammer at Bonhams Auction in London on Tuesday.

Works by artists from Iran, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Sudan, etc. offered in the Bonhams auction.

A work by Syria artist Levia Kylie took first place, earning £37750.

Iranian artist Mohammad Ehsaei ’s work " Yazdan" becoming the second top seller at Bonhams auction. But the final figure is not registered on the auction site.

“Layla and Majnun” by Reza Derakhshani took third place, earning £24000.

Calligraphy by Ali Shirazi sold for £3187, and an untitled painting by Parviz Kalantari was sold at £2550.

8 works by painter Ardeshir Mohasses went under the hammer for £1912, 1657, 1402, 1275, 1020, 1020, 637, and 408.

Sombat Der Kiureghian's untitled portrait painting sold for £1020 and an abstract painting by Neda Rahimi went for £701.

Two paintings by Ali Ghahremani were sold for £637 and 573, and a photo by Saghi sold £191.
