Shahr International Film Festival

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Japanese drama Shoplifters by Hirokazu Kore-eda was picked as best feature film in the international section of the 7th Shahr International Film Festival, the organizers announced on Monday.

  • The 7th edition of Shahr International Film Festival, as Iran's most important cinematic event of urban management, came to a close on 22 July at Tehran's Vahdat Hall, after 5 days showing films, animation movies and documentaries, across the world. Tehran City Council members and Mayor Pirouz Hanachi attended the event, which is organized each year by the Urban Image Institute, the Artistic and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Iran’s Shahr International Film Festival and Netherlands’ Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam (AFFR) have signed an MoU on cultural cooperation.

Shahr Film Festival aims at identifying creative and innovative cinematic works of urban life and creating a platform for exchanging of ideas and experiences among world cities.
