Tehran. (Iranart)-The Sotheby's 20th Century Oriental Art Auction will be held online from October 20 to 27 due to the Coronavirus epidemic, and 29 art pieces by 17 Iranian artists will be auctioned.

With the second season of international auctions approaching in 2020, the Sotheby's auction will sell 95 art pieces by contemporary and modern Middle Eastern artists online. During this period of the twentieth-century Middle Eastern artists' auction, works by artists from Iran, Egypt, Turkey, etc. will be hammered, and Iran, with 29 works by 17 Iranian artists, has accounted for 40% of the total works in this auction. Two paintings by Massoud Arabshahi will be sold at a base price of 10,000 to 15,000 pounds and 5,000 to 7,000 pounds. Sohrab Sepehri has also presented 4 small works, two of which have been offered for 8 to 12 thousand pounds.
