Iran’s Homayoun Shajarian releases the musical piece
Tehran. (Iranart)-Iran’s traditional vocalist Homayoun Shajarian, the son of Mohammadreza Shajarian, released a single musical piece titled, ‘One Breath Desiring You’.
He made the piece in cooperation with Iranian composer Saeed Farajpouri, who assisted in the creation of Shajarian’s album, ‘The Sun of My Desire,’ released in 2009.
The tuning and recording of this piece were done by Gholamreza Sadeqi while its lyrics were written by Iran’s young poet, Kamal Ja’fari.
“This work was one of the works from a collection of compositions whose recording was, unfortunately, stopped with the loss of the great and beloved master, Mohammadreza Shajarian. After that, pandemic-related problems were the reasons behind the slow process of its production,” said Farajpou
