Turkish singer Mahsun thanks Iran over help in extinguishing wildfires

TEHRAN.(Iranart) –Turkish singer and songwriter Mahsun Kirmizigül extended his thanks to Iran over its help for extinguishing the deadly forest fires in southern Turkey.

Kirmizigül wrote the message on his Twitter account, mashreghnews.ir wrote.

Iran launched its firefighting aircraft in large-scale forest fires which started on July 28 in southern Turkey.

The firefighting team and a firefighting aircraft were designed by young Iranian experts with a capacity of 40 tons of water to help extinguish more areas and prevent the fire from progressing.

At least eight people were killed in wildfires that have ripped through southern Turkey, ravaging coastal resorts and forcing tourists to flee.
