TEHRAN – (Iranart)- The Tehran Auction grossed over 420 billion rials (over $10 million, $1=42000 rials) during its 11th sale on Friday at the Parsian Hotel in Tehran as 65 percent of the artworks were sold at the minimum prices estimated.
The 11th edition of Tehran Auction was dedicated to the Iranian classic and modern art. The Friday event sold a record 42.4 billion tomans worth of Iranian art at Parsian Hotel.
