Actor Bahman Mofid dies at 78

TEHRAN.(Iranart) -Actror Bahman Mofid, who is most famouse for his roles in movies, has died of cancer in Tehran.

Yashar Samimi Mofakham (nephew of Bahman Mofid) announced his death news on Sunday.

"He loved the people and was always grateful for their kindness.It is not possible for people to participate in the ceremony because of the current circumstances (coronavirus), so we will thank them in advance," he added.

Bahman Mofid was born on July 27, 1942 in Tehran. When he was 5 years old, he entered the theatre with his father's shows.

He played in more than 70 films, including " Gheisar", "Reza Motori",Toghi", "Dash akol", "Baba Shamal" and after revolution "The Soroad Tavalod".
