Parisa Pahlevan: VISTA Gallery and VISTA Art Publishing Take Part in Tehran Art Month with Three Concurrent Events
VISTA Gallery and VISTA Art Publishing are making a strong presence at Tehran Art Month with three concurrent events.
IranArt : Parisa Pahlevan, founder and director of VISTA Gallery and VISTA Art Publishing, announced the news, saying: “Coinciding with Tehran Art Month, VISTA Gallery has mounted an engaging and thought-provoking exhibition at its permanent location on Mir Emad Street, off Motahari Street. Curated by Dr. Behnam Kamrani, the exhibition, titled ‘Paper: From Material to Meaning,’ presents striking paper-based works by ten artists.”

The exhibition features works by Mahdieh Abolhasan, Negar Javadi, Neda Jalili, Reza Rouhi, Hadi Arab-Narmi, Niloufar Ataeifar, Amir Kabirnejad, Nastaran Kamran, Masoumeh Mehtadi, and Farnaz Nikookhah.

Pahlevan added: “VISTA Gallery’s second presence during Tehran Art Month is the result of a collaboration with Ketab-e-Alf Book City. As part of this event, the solo exhibition ‘Zarfdis-ha’ presents works by Farhad Ghasiri, which can, in essence, be regarded as a reflection of the traditional technique of copper craftsmanship—or mesgari—within contemporary visual art.”

The director of VISTA Gallery concluded: “Alongside established art publishers at Ketab-e-Alf Book City, VISTA Art Publishing is also presenting its publications as part of a dedicated book exhibition.”
