Menart Fair is the first international modern and contemporary art fair in Europe, dedicated to artists from the Middle East & North Africa, selected by must-see galleries.

The Southern and Eastern Mediterranean, the Levant, and the Middle East are represented here by Menart Fair, with artists from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

22 galleries from different countries of the world will present in this event, among which Shirin Gallery was the only representative of Iran. This gallery with the works of 6 Iranian artists will present at the Menart fair and exhibited works by Kourosh Shishegaran, Shahriar Ahmadi, Sepehr Bakhtiari, Hamid Ajami, Katayoon Roohi, and Hanieh Tabatabaei.

After ten years of success of Beirut Art Fair in Lebanon, Laure d’Hauteville joins Paul de Rosen and launches Menart Fair, curated by Joanna Chevalier.

Unprecedented in the West, this first fair (face-to-face & online) exhibit its artistic scenes that are sometimes unknown to European collectors and amateurs. It creates a dialogue between the different cultures of these regions, which are as rich as they are distinct from one another.

There will also be a particular focus on female artists.

Despite France’s high levels of Covid-19 cases, the event is set to go ahead in person between Thursday and Sunday, May 27 and 30, in a purpose-built structure ensuring the highest COVID-19 safety protocols.
