  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Tehran has a brand new theater complex. Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs Ali Moradkhani inaugurated Shanou theater complex in a special ceremony attended by artists and enthusiasts. The new theater complex is curated by Ghotbeddin Sadeghi.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Directed by Parviz Shahbazi, new feature-length movie Malaria had a private screening in Charsou Complex. Mohammad Rahmanian, Parsa Pirouzfar, Saed Soheili, Azarakhsh Farahani, Nazanin Bayati, and Azadeh Namdari attended the film event on Tuesday along with other A-list artists.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) – New feature-length movie Italia Italia saw its private screening in Charsou Complex. Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh, Hamed Komeyli, Sara Bahraminia and a number artists attended the movie event.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Directed by Maryam Kazemi, The Miser is now playing at Tehran Theater Complex (Ali Nasirian Hall) until 1 September.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) - Classical vocalist Homayoun Shajarian and composer Sohrab Pournazeri have staged a multimedia performance based on the Shahnameh (Book of Kings), the epic poem written by celebrated Persian poet Ferdowsi (940-1020), at Sa’dabad Complex in Tehran. The multimedia project was titled ‘Si’ (30 in Persian). The number refers to an introductory verse attributed to Ferdowsi, explaining about the long, arduous and exhausting work of composing and compiling the poem which comprises some 100,000 verse lines. The stories featured were ‘Rostam and Esfandyar,’ Rostam and Sohrab,’ and ‘Zal and Rudabeh.’ The stories were played by Sahar Dolatshahi, Bahram Radan, Mehdi Pakdel, Banipal Shomoun, Hossein Soufian, and Saber Abar.

  • TEHRAN – (Iranart)- Conducted by Pedram Niksirat, a mixed music concert dubbed Jazz Nights was performed at Tehran's Niavaran Cultural Complex.

  • Iranart- An art collection by Iranian luminaries, entitled The Epiphany Frame, is on view at the Niavaran Cultural Complex. The event has been organized by the Chehrehaye Mandegar Monthly Magazine and the Afarinesh Art Foundation of Niavaran.
