“Alphabet” wins best animation award at FICEE in Spain

TEHRAN –(Iranart)- “Alphabet”, Iranian director Kianush Abedi’s acclaimed movie, won the award for best animated film at the 8th FICEE - Ciudad Rodrigo International Festival of Educational and Spiritual Cinema in Spain, the organizers announced on Saturday.

2 Animations Nominated for Italian Film Festival

TEHRAN.(Iranart) – A nimated films by two Iranian brothers, ‘Alphabet’ by Kianoush Abedi and ‘Servant’ by Farnoush Abedi, are among nominees for the top award of the second San Mauro International Film Festival in Turin, Italy, May 23-25. Servant, a 9-minute animation with no dialogue, is about an ennui-stricken writer whose suicidal thoughts are stopped by a cockroach.
