  • An excellent collection of caricatures by contemporary artist Bozorgmehr Hosseinpour is on display in the Silk Road Gallery until 6 November. The show is dubbed A Caricaturist in Naser al-Din Shah Heram. Naser al-Din Shah Qajar (16 July 1831 – 1 May 1896) was the King of Persia from 5 September 1848 to 1 May 1896 when he was assassinated.

  • TEHRAN.(Iranart) – Tehran’s Book Garden has once again opened its doors to a new art exhibition by Parviz Tanavoli and his students. The exposition, dubbed 40 Years, 40 Artists, will run through until Tuesday, 3 July.

  • Iranart- Directed by Golchehr Damghani, the play Breakfast at Sunset, is on stage at the Qashqai Hall of City Theater until Friday, July 21.

  • Iranart- The 7th edition of Tehran Auction was held 7 July 2017 in the capital city where the best of artworks sold to art collectors. The total proceeds of the auction stood at 26.113 billion tomans – an equivalent of some $8 million. An untitled painting (trees) by celebrated poet and painter Sohrab Sepehri, for 3.1 billion tomans, became the most expensive item sold in the auction.

  • (Iranart) An exhibition of painting by Niyaz Babatabar, entitled Obron, is underway at the Delgosha Gallery of Tehran until July 4.
