Fadjr Top Provincial Shows to Receive Financial Supports for Public Performance
Atabak Naderi, director of the Dramatic Arts Center for provincial affairs, told Iran Theater about details of Always Theater Plan.
IRAN ART : He explained that the plan was aimed at supporting the theatrical troupes of provinces to be admitted in the Fadjr International Theater Festival. The plan backs these troupes for having public performances in the neighboring cities of other provinces.
The center, Mr Naderi said, would allocate a fund of 40m to 60m rials to each troupe while those shows who would be able to receive performance invitation from other provinces would receive funds too.
The official regretted that the plan was not enforced last year due to poor co-operation in some provinces. He said that a sample of the plan was successfully executed in Kerman province previously.
On limitations of the plan, Mr Naderi said that one or two top works would receive the financial supports from each province. He hoped that the plan would be expanded in the future.
On Provinces Top Theater Works Conference, which opened over the weekend, he said that the gathering would give a chance to provinces to introduce their theatrical talents and shows to audience in the capital Tehran.
