Five Days With Khorasan Music
TEHRAN – (Iranart)- T he House of Humanities Thinkers in Tehran is organizing a 5-day program to celebrate the music of Khorasan region.
Ethnic music from the provinces of South Khorasan, North Khorasan and Khorasan Razavi will be played at Ferdowsi Hall of the cultural institute from March 5-9. The venue is located at No. 2, Villa Street, on the corner of Varsho (Warsaw) Street, ISNA reported.
In the first program, the ensemble of Peyvand-Torbat, led by Abbas-Ali Esmaili, will perform. On March 6, Zhendepil band, led by Ahmad Shami-Shahdabadi will appear on stage. Saba band under the leadership of Khalil Shiri will perform on March 7. Del-Sheyda, led by Gholam-Hassan Salami, will entertain the audience on March 8. And on the final evening, Simorgh will give a performance directed by Meysam Qomorlou.
