Baluchi musician Ali Avaregan dies at 86
TEHRAN –(Iranart)- The Baluchi qeichak virtuoso Ali Avaregan who was also an expert in making the instrument died at his home on Friday. He had reached the age of 86.
He lived in Safarzehi, a remote village in the Dashtari region of the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchistan, Persian media reported.
According to musician Es’haq Baluchnasab, the musician was suffering from an illness after he had a heart attack a while ago.
