Niavaran Center to Host Flamenco Concert
TEHRAN. (Iranart) - Flamenco guitarist and cajon player Behrouz Aqaee will lead a flamenco concert on Wednesday at Niavaran Cultural Center in north Tehran.
Aqaee, a self-taught musician and instructor, will play the lead guitar and will be accompanied by guitarist Arash Golestani who has had earlier duet performances with him. They are going to perform in the flamenco styles of granaina, agua marina (rumba), tico tico and entre dos aguas, ILNA reported on its Persian website. Other musicians include guitarist Yadollah Rezaee, Sepehr Esmaili on cajon and Mojtaba Keshavarz on bass guitar. Tickets are available at Iranconcert.com. Niavaran Cultural Center is located at the northern tip of Pasdaran Street, across Niavaran Park.
