Satirical Narration on Death of Identity
TEHRAN.(Iranart) - “Under Zero” written and directed by Alireza Seyyed is being staged at Divar-e-Chaharom (fourth wall) Theater House in Tehran.
The play, which has a comedic and grotesque atmosphere, includes four episodes—all of which revolve around the death of thought and identity.
The episodes are named “Attention”, “Peace”, “Development” and “Fun”, each happening in a different time setting, from Nazi Germany to communist Poland and from developed Japan to America.
The play centers on the main concerns existing in many societies: How individuals get drained of any thoughts and how people acquire identities.
