TEHRAN –(Iranart)- Art galleries in Tehran have almost been deserted in light of the latest spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
Curated by Kiarash Yaghoubi, a group calligraphy exhibition by Iranian artists, titled Wintry, is underway in Tehran's Mojdeh Gallery until 27 February.
A selection of artworks by Ahmad Ariamanesh is on view in an exhibition in Tehran’s Mojdeh Gallery. Titled Passage, the program will continue until 31 January.
The Restless Branches is the title of a solo painting exhibition by Reza Bigonah at the Mojdeh Gallery in Tehran. You can see his artworks until 17 January.
A collection of artworks by late Iranian translator, painter, and writer Mehdi Sahabi is in view in the Mojdeh Gallery. Entitled After Ten Years, the show runs until 29 November. Mehdi Sahabi ( 4 February 1944 in Qasvin (Iran) – November 9, 2009 in Paris (France) ), translated novels originally in English, French, and Italian into Persian. His translation of Marcel Proust's In Search of Lost Time, which he spent 11 years on, is considered his finest. He also translated Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary and Sentimental Education, Charles Dickens' David Copperfield; All Men are Mortal by Simone de Beauvoir, Stendhal's The Red and the Black, The Baron in the Trees by Italo Calvino and Louis-Ferdinand Céline's Death on Credit.
The Mojdeh Gallery is playing host to a group painting exhibition under the title Intangible Silence. Curated by Ali Khalegh, the exhibit is featuring works by 15 Iranian contemporary artists. The show will be running until 18 October.

TEHRAN.(Iranart) -Mojdeh Art Gallery in Tehran has put a large collection of photographs for sale. The Summer Photo Sale opened August 24 and will run through August 31 at the gallery located at No. 27, East 18 Street, North Allameh Street, Sa’adatabad neighborhood.
