Book City to Show Documentaries

TEHRAN. (Iranart) – Fereshteh branch of Book City Institute in north Tehran is starting a weekly program screening documentaries and short films. Every Saturday evening it will hold public screening of selected films.

The first program is set for September 1 with a documentary on the Majlis, the Iranian Parliament. “Chair 257,” directed by Mohsen Khanjahani, is a film shot in Mah Neshan County in Zanjan and inside the parliament in south Tehran, ISNA reported. Documentary and Experimental Film Center is the producer of the film. Tickets are available at Evand.com. Fereshteh Book City is located at No. 1671, Shariati Street, a short walk from Sadr Bridge to the south.
