Solo Exhibition Of “FEREYDOUN AVE “At Total Arts Gallery

These days new artworks of “Fereydoun Ave”with names "fire" is being held in total arts at courtyard .

Iranart:Ave in statment of exhibition says: The centre of all things is fire/light, and when under pressure, erupts to clean and purify to start again like the God/Goddes - Shiva and Kali - like the volcanos, it is the blood that runs through our veins and the light that runs through our consciousness. There are eruptions all the time, great and small, physical and metaphysical.

He continues: This series was triggered by a surgical intervention that surrounded me with blood + more blood + light; my wish is that this optimistic series on paper will cleanse.

Ave’s works are usually mixed media of materials on pre-prepared images or collages on canvas and paper, with lines and brush strokes of painted and almost disordered pen.

His works are like poetic pieces that first capture the viewer’s gaze and then walk into his imagination. The “line” element in Ave’s works has a linguistic and semiotic tendency similar to the current of contemporary art world. One of the elements in the most of the artist’s works can be seen is writing. But this presence appears differently. Sometimes the lines are interconnected and of a subjective nature, sometimes these writings are present alongside visual elements and in the form of artist’s handwriting, and sometimes they are expressive and emotional brush strokes that are present in the painting scene alongside figurative elements.
