_Please share your artistic biography with us.

Rezvan Yaraei: I was born in 1996 and hold a degree in Painting from the University of Tehran. My recent works are currently on view at a three-person exhibition focused on nature at Mojdeh Gallery. Over the past few years—from 2022 to 2025—my works have been featured in several group exhibitions, including at the Didi Museum Gallery, as well as in themed exhibitions such as a still life show in an online gallery and others.

_Can you tell us about your painting series?

Rezvan Yaraei: I’ve developed three main series: "Departure Within," "Postcard Collection," and "Mountains."

"Departure Within" explores my personal and emotional experiences; I’ve aimed to express inner feelings abstractly through the use of color and form.

"Postcard Collection" leans toward surreal themes, employing abstract approaches to space and form creation.

_Please tell us about the artwork you created for the Vesta Color and Mojdeh Gallery joint project.

Rezvan Yaraei: The "Mountains" series, which I developed for the Vesta Color and Mojdeh Gallery project, is rooted in personal sensory experiences from everyday life and my travels to northern Iran. I tried to depict the mountains through colors and forms that originate from within me. Each piece in the series reflects the conditions of my own life and the society around me. In some paintings, I’m even present through a specific color that symbolizes myself.
