Hegta CEO announces that the company’s gross profit increased by 144 percent in the Iranian year 1404, while operating revenues rose by 60 percent compared to the previous year.
Iran Art: Alireza Tabesh, CEO of Hegta Tourism Holding, outlined the achievements of his 18-month tenure during a meeting with tourism journalists and specialized media representatives.
Alireza Tabesh stated:
“When I joined Hegta, I knew that improving efficiency would first require structural reform. We redefined Hegta’s manifesto around principles such as innovation, foresight, brand-building, and strategic development. This environmental awareness and planning based on existing capacities enabled Hegta not only to remain resilient despite the challenges of 1404—including two military conflicts, the incidents of Dey, internet disruptions, and the decline of tourism among public priorities—but also to become a transformative organization in multiple respects.”
He added:
“The rebranding of Hegta, expansion of investment activities, and stronger engagement with the private sector have elevated the company’s position and shifted perceptions of Hegta from a cost center to a value-generating enterprise.”

_ 144% Growth in Gross Profit
The CEO of Hegta Tourism Holding announced:
“As a result of our revised strategies, clearly defined objectives, and the dedicated efforts of our colleagues, Hegta’s gross profit in 1404 increased by 144 percent compared to the previous year. Operating revenues also recorded a 60 percent year-on-year growth.”
_ Three Loss-Making Companies Returned to Profitability
Tabesh revealed:
“Three of Hegta’s six subsidiaries that were operating at a loss before my appointment became profitable in 1404.”
He noted that one of the key drivers of this transformation has been greater synergy among the group’s six companies.
“For example, Tamin Company had organized only 25 tours and travel packages throughout 1403. Today, despite wartime conditions and other challenges, it has successfully conducted several thousand trips. In line with fostering social vitality and optimism, the company is currently operating one-day tourist train journeys. These tourism trains, which had been suspended for five years following the COVID-19 pandemic, have resumed operations over the past year.”
_ A Distinctive Approach to Hosting Families Affected by War.
Tabesh stated:
“During the Ramadan War, 97 percent of the capacity of Homa Hotel Tehran and 50 percent of Homa Hotel Bandar Abbas were dedicated to accommodating families affected by the conflict. We viewed this effort as part of our social responsibility.”
He continued:
“Through initiatives such as the ‘Heart of Iran’ cultural program, gatherings with artists, film screenings, children’s play areas, and other activities, we sought to provide a warm and dignified environment for our guests during difficult times.”

_ Hegta Tourism Week
According to Alireza Tabesh:
“One of the initiatives that significantly changed public perceptions of Hegta was ‘Hegta Tourism Week.’ During this event, innovative programs were implemented across Homa Hotels, Anzali Coastal Village, Abadgaran, and Raja Rail Transportation Company.”
He added:
“Corporate governance and quality-oriented management are two fundamental principles within Hegta. These approaches have revived a spirit of healthy competition among our subsidiaries, and many of our achievements stem from these very foundations.”
_ Homa Hospitality School Managed by Homa Hotels
Tabesh highlighted the company’s educational initiatives:
“Numerous training programs have been implemented to achieve higher standards and align with international benchmarks. One of our most innovative initiatives will be launched tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9: the Homa Hospitality School, which will be managed and operated by Homa Hotels Group.”
He explained:
“The first phase of the school will be established in Tehran, and we plan to launch a second campus on Kish Island in cooperation with the Kish Organization. Our objective is to enhance hospitality standards and improve guest services. We hope that through this academic approach, the growth in the number of hotels will be matched by a significant improvement in the quality and professionalism of services provided to travelers.”

_ New Hotel Projects in Khorramshahr and Lahijan
Referring to several ongoing development projects, the Hegta CEO stated:
“Among numerous initiatives currently underway are the transfer of ownership of Fajr Hotel Lahijan to Homa Hotels, feasibility studies for establishing a hotel in Khorramshahr, participation in the development of a Health Village project in Ardabil, renovation and expansion of the Golougah recreational complex, and the construction of a serviced apartment hotel in Mashhad by Abadgaran.”
Tabesh concluded:
“One of our most significant achievements is that construction activities at Anzali Coastal Village did not stop for even a single day during the Ramadan War.”
