Artworks Spanning 3 Generations in View at Khak Gallery

Khak Gallery has opened a group exhibition titled Khak Annual Review until 6 August. With Khak Gallery art director Mandana Farahmand as curator, the gallery is showing artworks by 10 artists from three generations of Iranian art. Gholamhossein Nami , Kourosh Shishegaran, Masood Akhavanjam, Mehdi Hoseini, Einodin Sadeghzade, Kambiz Sabri, Bita Fayyazi, Golnaz Moghadam, Nazar Musavinia, and Narges Hashemi, are artists whose works have been exhibited.

7th Shahr Int'l Film Festival Opening Ceremmony

The Mellat Cineplex hosted the opening ceremony of the 7th Shahr International Film Festival on Wednesday. The Festival will run until 22 July. Shahr International Film Festival, as Iran's most important cinematic event of urban management in setting and promotion of appropriate urban and industrial life patterns, is organized each year by the Urban Image Institute, the Artistic and Cultural Organization of Tehran Municipality. Shahr Film Festival aims at identifying creative and innovative cinematic works of urban life and creating a platform for exchanging of ideas and experiences among world cities.
